Second training session - Sunday Nov 5.
Halfed breakfast insulin. Ease Off two hours before this time and Personal Glucose Target of 9.0mmol for the same period.
Extended Personal Glucose Target for two hours after at 8.5mmol
Mostly managed session - rowing, bike, kick backs, 10kg bridge, leg extension machine, and hip abduction, plus 5 min rowing. But blood glucose started dropping, so packed it in ten minutes early.
The problems started around an hour after finishing, with a low of 4.5mmol.
Then shortly after I realised I’d left my pump on OFF MODE after my shower - so this Gym Training Test was on the scrap heap then!
Learning for next time
Extend the Personal Glucose Target or Ease Off for longer?
Reduce insulin with next meal - and next meal after that too - as I was hypo for breakfast on Monday.
- Low carb for lunch to stop the high and automatic insulin delivery
- Ease Off two hours before, not 1.5 hours
